Two Week Weight Loss Challenge

A battle between good and evil, light and darkness, candy and cookies! Two co-workers strive for supremacy to find out who can drop the most lbs in a battle to (... avoid) the death!
Alanna
My name is Alanna, and I work here at Munroe Pharmacy. I have been on Ideal protein for the past 6 months and am STUCK. I have not lost or gained over the past 3-4 weeks and with the holidays behind me I need to hit my weight loss goal. I only have 10lbs to go! What better way to get motivated than to challenge my co-worker Roni who is also on his weight loss journey. We decided on a 10 day weight loss challenge to motivate us both and kick start us into high gear.
The Rules of the challenge: with the person that has the highest percentage of weight loss at the end being the winner. We would love for you to follow us on this journey you will be able to see our daily progress (or digression) and vote for who you think will win.
My starting Weight for this challenge is 168.7 lbs alana
We stared on Feb 4, with a goal of losing 2% of our body weight in 14 days. Once we pass 2% the highest percentage wins.
Roni
My Name is Roni, and I’ve been waylaid into a challenge this morning! I find things like this really enjoyable. Alanna is great fun to be around, and having someone competing with me gives me a bit of an edge at my weakest moments. I have 3 smaller children and I find making dinner for the kids and family the hardest part of my day. Even though many people don’t, that’s the time when I’m most tempted to cheat. All that bread and crackers pizza and pasta that they request can occasionally catch me on a bad day and slow down my progress.
Having someone racing me seems to remove a some of the strength of the cravings. I’m excited to share two weeks of our journey with you. Some important notes we aren’t considering for the challenge. I’m on a slower plan than Alanna is, because my goal weight 220 lbs is so much higher than hers I consume more ideal protein products to maintain lean body mass.
My starting Weight for this challenge is 270.7 lbs roni
I still think I can pull this out of the fire if I don’t mess up often and make it a good race.
